Surrounding Dallas neighborhoods have been waiting a long time for a concert venue to open up and now one finally is! Lava Cantina plans on opening in 2016 and with several CB JENI Homes communities located near The Colony, such as Frisco, McKinney, Plano and Carrollton, our residents could not be more excited.
Lava Cantina will make visitors feel like they’re backstage at a show!
Lava Cantina will be a 29,000 square foot concert venue and restaurant unlike any other that North Dallas has seen before. Chris Harmon, the Project Manager for Lava Cantina in The Colony said, “This will be a game changer for North Dallas. A full size concert venue right at your doorstep!” Owner and Founding Partner, Ian Vaughn, is excited about hosting special ticketed concerts and festivals similar to their existing Lava Cantina in Baton Rouge, Louisiana like their Cinco de Mayo and Lavapalooza fests.
Introducing Chef Patrick Stark
Chef Patrick Stark has big menu plans for Lava Cantina and North Dallas residents cannot wait to see what he has cooked up. Many may recognize the mohawked chef from when he worked at Sundown at Granada or even in his several appearances on the Food Network. And while the menu is still being development, Stark is bringing Creole with a Mexican twist to the menu. With indoor and outdoor stages, a patio and a rooftop deck, visitors will be able to listen to great live music while enjoying an amazing meal. This venue is the perfect combination of Mexican and Creole Fusion and Live Rock & Roll!
Between the new Nebraska Furniture Mart now open and Lava Cantina coming soon, Dallas real estate is booming and CB JENI Homes builds in several surrounding Dallas neighborhoods. For more information on our communities, visit our website today!
